The Brief:

Management training has a reputation problem. It's perceived as dry, corporate and something people sit through rather than genuinely engage with. MTD Training are anything but, however their previous brand video said otherwise. Stuffy, static and shot in the style of every other corporate video produced in the last decade, it wasn't doing justice to a business with genuine personality and a product that actually works.

The approach:

The brief was to make MTD Training look like the kind of company people actually want to work with. energetic, approachable, modern and confident enough not to take itself too seriously. A corporate brand film that felt nothing like a corporate brand film.

We threw out the standard formula entirely. No talking heads in front of pull-up banners. No scripted pieces to camera delivered in a beige meeting room. No music that sounds like every other corporate video produced this year. Instead, a dynamic, fast-paced and genuinely humorous film that captured the personality of the MTD team.

The staff photography followed exactly the same philosophy. Natural, candid and shot in the real environments where the MTD team actually work. People at their desks, mid-conversation, laughing, engaged. Not a single person stood awkwardly in front of a backdrop wondering what to do with their hands.

The result:

A corporate brand film and photography suite that finally gave MTD Training a visual identity matching their actual personality. Modern, confident and completely distinct from the category they operate in. Content that makes a prospective client smile before they've even picked up the phone.
