Home, Styled, Ongoing Product & Lifestyle Photography for Furniture Maxi

Client: Furniture Maxi

Project: Ongoing Product Launches, E-commerce & Social Media Campaigns

Discipline: E-commerce Photography, Lifestyle Art Direction & Short-form Video

The Brief:

In online furniture retail, the imagery is the product. A customer can't sit on the sofa, feel the fabric or test the table, all they have is what the photography tells them. Get it right and the decision to buy feels obvious. Get it wrong and the product stays in the basket.

Furniture Maxi carry an extensive range of home and garden furniture across multiple categories and price points, and they needed a photography and content partner who could keep pace with a constant stream of new arrivals while maintaining the kind of visual consistency that builds a recognisable brand identity over time. That's where we came in.

The approach:

Ongoing work at this scale requires a disciplined creative framework, one that allows for variety across collections and seasons while keeping every image feeling unmistakably part of the same brand.

Every production across our Furniture Maxi partnership has operated across three distinct content modes, each serving a different purpose in the customer journey.

Lifestyle photography places the furniture in aspirational but believable settings, carefully selected locations across the West Midlands that give each piece the kind of real-world context that makes a customer stop imagining the product and start imagining it in their own home. A garden dining set in the right outdoor space. A velvet sofa in a room with the right light. The difference between imagery that sells and imagery that sits on a page.

Product photography serves a completely different brief, precise, colour-accurate and technically detailed enough to give a customer genuine confidence in what they're buying before it arrives. Fabric texture, wood grain, build quality and finish, all of it visible in a way that reduces doubt and drives the decision to purchase.

Short-form video content keeps Furniture Maxi visible and engaging on the platforms their audience actually spends time on, vertical format, fast-paced and built specifically for Instagram Reels and TikTok. Room transformations, product styling sequences and lifestyle loops that stop the scroll and drive organic reach without feeling like advertising.

Throughout every production, lighting and art direction are managed to ensure that imagery shot months apart across different locations and different collections feels cohesive — because brand consistency at scale doesn't happen by accident. It's the result of having the same creative direction applied every single time.

The Result:

An ongoing visual library that forms the backbone of Furniture Maxi's digital presence — e-commerce imagery that converts, lifestyle content that builds brand aspiration and social video that keeps the brand visible and engaging in one of the most competitive retail environments online.

Furniture that looks exceptional in someone's home deserves photography that makes them feel that way before it arrives. That's what we deliver — every collection, every time.
