The Brief:

FESPA Global Print Expo is the world's largest specialist print exhibition. An international event that brings together over 425 exhibiting companies from 36 countries and attracts more than 12,700 visitors from 120 nations across the globe. Held at the iconic RAI Amsterdam, it is one of the most significant events in the print and visual communications industry calendar anywhere in the world.

Covering it properly required a two-photographer team across five full days and a production discipline that could keep pace with an event operating simultaneously across multiple halls, multiple stages and a schedule that never stopped moving.

The approach:

With hundreds of exhibitors spread across six halls, keynote speakers and panel sessions running throughout the day and the World Wrap Masters, FESPA's celebrated vehicle wrapping competition, the challenge wasn't finding things to photograph. It was making sure nothing significant was missed while maintaining the quality and consistency of the imagery across five consecutive days of shooting.

We deployed two photographers throughout, working in coordination across different areas of the show floor, the speaker stages and the Wrapfest competition to ensure comprehensive coverage without doubling up on the same shots. Key speakers and panel sessions were prioritised throughout, capturing the faces and moments of an event attended by business owners, directors and senior decision makers from across the global print industry.

Wrapfest provided some of the most visually dynamic content of the entire five days, vehicles being transformed in real time by the world's best wrap artists, in a competition environment that combined technical precision with genuine creative spectacle. We documented multiple stages of the competition throughout the event, from early preparation through to the finished wraps that the judging panel evaluated.

Same-day edits, between 20 and 30 images selected, edited and delivered each day, ensured that FESPA had a consistent stream of high-quality content ready for social media and press use while the event was still happening. In an environment where social media moves at the speed of the show floor, same-day delivery isn't a bonus. It's a requirement.

Five days of comprehensive exhibition photography across one of the world's most significant print industry events, speaker coverage, exhibitor photography, competition documentation and same-day social content delivered consistently throughout.
